The “gospel” of save yourself is not the Gospel of salvation

Pray fervently for peace, never resigned to war, but working with the gentle strength of faith to end conflicts

Pray for unity and peace

A service of love for the common good

In the mission of evangelization, you move because the Holy Spirit pushes you

The Rosary is a weapon that protects us from evil and temptation

Nowadays we are either all saved together or no one is saved

A courageous decision? Using the money spent on weapons for a “global Fund” to defeat hunger

We are all responsible

Education bears within itself a seed of hope

A global pact on education for and with future generations

Prayer is an expression of friendship with God who always loves us

He knows what we need and will give us what is good for us

Tenderness is the path of choice for the strongest, most courageous men and women

True happiness is found by putting God in first place and serving Him in our brothers and sisters, especially the least

I am near

The garment of Mercy, which God offers us unceasingly, is the free gift of His Love

If I can help at least one person to have a better life, that already justifies the offering of my life

We achieve fulfilment when we break down walls

The immense dignity of the human person is not based on circumstances but on the intrinsic worth of their being

All Christians and people of good will are today called to work not only for the abolition of the death penalty in all its forms, but also to work for the improvement of prison conditions, out of respect for the human dignity of persons deprived of their freedom

Our love for others, for who they are, moves us to seek the best for their lives

Love takes first place: love must never be put at risk, and the greatest danger lies in failing to love

The Laity

Building fraternity

The guarantee of an authentic openness to God is a way of practising the faith that helps open our hearts to our brothers and sisters

A new world, where all of us are brothers and sisters, where there is room for all our societies discard, where justice and peace are resplendent

Without an openness to the Father of all, there will be no solid and stable reasons for an appeal to fraternity

The proof of prayer is real love for our neighbour

Children of the same earth which is our common home, each of us bringing the richness of his or her beliefs and convictions, each of us with his or her own voice, brothers and sisters all

The rebirth of a universal aspiration to fraternity

We cannot be indifferent to suffering

The existence of each and every individual is deeply tied to that of others: life is not simply time that passes; life is a time for interactions

We need to think of ourselves more and more as a single family dwelling in a common home

Love, simplicity and joy

Fratelli Tutti

God awaits the fruit of His vineyard from those He has sent to work in it

A glimpse of His infinite beauty and goodness

A new vision of fraternity and social friendship

The effort to build a more just society implies the capacity of fraternity

Sustainable and integral development

Members of a single family!

The little way of love: not to let the possibility of offering a smile to slip by, or any small gesture that sows peace and friendship

Wednesday, 30 September 2020

Let us not go back to the "normality" sick with with injustice, inequality and environmental degradation

A living and tender love

Saint Michael, help us in the battle for salvation we are fighting

In the entire universe and in the smallest of Your creatures

A Christian life is not made up of dreams or beautiful aspirations but of concrete commitments,

May St Vincent's example lead all of us to joyful and disinterested service to the most in need, and open us to hospitality and the gift of life

Let’s pray for the millions of internally displaced people Just like Jesus and his parents who fled to Egypt, they live with fear, uncertainty and uneas

We see the face of Jesus in the faces of the hungry, the thirsty, the naked, the sick, strangers and prisoners

Let us dedicate ourselves to free humanity from nuclear arms, this serious threat to the human race

I urge civil authorities to be especially attentive to children who are denied their fundamental rights and dignity

We need to dismantle the perverse logic that links personal and national security to the possession of weaponry

I renew my appeal that all nations be enabled to meet the greatest needs of the moment, reducing or forgiving the debt of the poorest nations

The United Nations was established to bring nations together, to be a bridge between peoples

Everyone’s talents and involvement are needed

Human life is itself a gift which must be defended

There is no true solidarity without social participation

Relationship with God, with our neighbour and with the earth

The journey of reconciliation calls for patience and trust

We need to pursue a genuine fraternity based on our common origin from God

Those who reason using human logic, that is, the logic of the merits acquired through one’s own greatness, from being first, find themselves last

Saturday, 19 September 2020

We are called to be instruments of God our Father with his plan for peace, beauty and fullness

Everyone is important in God’s eyes

We must return to contemplation; so as not to be distracted by a thousand useless things

To contemplate and to care

We are inside nature, we are part of nature

Heaven, earth, sea, and every creature have an iconic capacity or mystical capacity to bring us back to the Creator and to communion with creation

Climate restoration is of utmost importance

For the sufferings of the crucified poor and for the creatures of this world laid waste by human power

The crucifix is truly the great book of God’s love

Solidarity and closeness to all the victims

If forgiveness and mercy were the style of our life

Not everything in life can be resolved with justice

Nature is filled with words of love, but how can we listen to them amid constant noise?

As believers, we do not look at the world from without but from within

In the face of the many false securities that have now crumbled

We can regenerate good relationships on the communitarian, national and international level and even in harmony with the environment

To love everyone, including enemies, is difficult – I would say it is even an art!

A virus that does not recognise barriers, borders, or cultural or political distinctions must be faced with a love without barriers, borders or distinctions

The Christian response to the pandemic and to the consequent socio-economic crisis is based on love

Mary cares with maternal affection and pain for this wounded world

The world is a joyful mystery to be contemplated with gladness and praise

Only the Father can show a greater love than that of all brothers and sisters put together

So that our criterion for action might be gratuitous love, offered freely to everyone without distinction of language, culture, race, or religion

May we be attentive to the rhythms of creation

Prayer and fasting for Lebanon

We hear the voice of creation admonishing us to return to our rightful place in the natural created order

Prayer and fasting

As a human family we have our common origin in God

We are all linked to each other, for better or for worse

Time to restore the original harmony of creation and to heal strained human relationships

We cannot live in harmony with creation if we are not at peace with the Creator who is the source and origin of all things

Time to remember creation’s original vocation to exist as a community of love

We are asked to re-appropriate God’s original and loving plan of creation as a common heritage

Prayer for the Care of Creation

Season Of Creation

Dialogue and respect
